Abstract:

The changes included in the Law 1/96 of Children Protection and its consequences in the application of protective measures, are analysed in this article, as well as the action in the sanitary field in order to detect situations of risk or misprotection. Determination of the kinds of abuse, their diagnosis, intervention and prevention, correspond to multidisciplinary teams, in which the pediatrician has a crucial role.
