Abstract:

The preparticipation physical evaluation is oriented to the detection of risk factors for sudden death. The first cause of sudden death is cardiac arrest. A number of screening systems are available, mostly (standard tests) and physical examination. The different tests available have been fashioned by the Experts Committees of Academies of Physicians.
